Tools to Support the Development of a Performance Driven Culture (NYSS: Albany)

When: Wednesday, June 21

Location: Radisson Hotel Albany, Wolf Road, Albany, NY, United States

Event Details:

Sponsored by New York State Success (NYSS) in partnership with the Managed Care Technical Assistance Center (MCTAC) and CCSI’s Center for Collaboration in Community Health, these day long in-person events provided expertise, case examples, and templates/tools answering the following questions:
·        Why is data important?
·        What data should be collected and how do I start?
·        How can I improve my organization through the use of data?
·        How do I define the value and impact of services?
·        What are best practices for cross-system collaboration and data sharing?

We also introduced the Trauma-Informed Care Organizational Self-Assessment Tool (TIC OSAT) developed by Coordinated Care Services, Inc. and The Institute on Trauma and Trauma Informed Care at the University of Buffalo.  A link to the tool  is available through the NYS Success website and will allow users to assess their organization on SAMHSA’s ten domains of Trauma-Informed Care and receive a report based on aggregated scores with specific recommendations and strategies to enhance Trauma-Informed practices.

Target Audience: Mental Health and Substance Use Providers (Executive/Senior Leadership, Program/Operations, and Compliance/Quality Improvement staff) in the Rest-of-State (ROS) region
