The NYS Office of Mental Health, Department of Health, in partnership with the NYU McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research, is launching a pilot initiative to evaluate the feasibility and utility of using the K-CAT® adaptive assessment tool for youth. The K-CAT® assesses 6 domains (anxiety, depression, mania, ADHD, CD, and ODD), as well as suicide and substance use, and is validated for youth ages 7-17.
