Becoming a Socially Just Organization: Why should we care and what can we do?

When: Thursday, November 5 - 12:30 PM

Duration: 1 hours 30 minutes

Location: Zoom

Event Details:

We are having our first webinar on how organizations can approach anti-oppressive and anti-racist practices on Oct 22nd.

On November 5th, we are holding our next presentation for organizational leaders about ways to understand and begin the conversation about anti-racism and anti-oppression. We have reached a pivotal moment with regards to race and oppression in this country. Behavioral health organizations face a number of challenges when it comes to building and sustaining equitable and socially just programs and practices. However, ensuring that we are functioning in a socially just way supports an organizations priority of delivering quality services. Our presenter, Diana Noriega will provide organizational leaders and managers with a framework in which to think about organizational internal practices and policies as well as how you serve your clients. She will also provide you with some beginning next steps to consider as you begin these conversations within your organization.

Now is the perfect time to begin the conversations on what we can do as organizations to ensure we are working in a socially just and anti-oppressive way. Please join us and bring your questions!
