It takes appropriate evaluation and creative problem solving to reduce turnover, particularly in high stress health care environments. Creating a consistent practice of evaluating and adapting for your workforce can help identify specific gaps needed when hiring new staff and decrease turnover impact.
This module will discuss solutions to turnover resulting from hiring practices and maintaining strategies highlighted from research and real-world examples. Previous M/CTAC technical webinars and tools will also be referred to within this module. Solutions will fall under the major categories of physiological needs, safety, belongingness and inclusion, and esteem and competence.
