Event Details:

PREPP (Practical Resources for Effective Postpartum Parenting) is an intervention designed to prevent postpartum depression by focusing on the unique bidirectional relationship between baby and parent. This program aims to prevent postpartum mood disorders in at-risk people by promoting parentally mediated behavioral changes in their infants (i.e. improving infant sleep and reducing infant cry), while also including psychoeducation and stress-management skills. This program is designed to be brief and accessible and has been endorsed by the United States Preventive Services Task Force.
