Day 2: PeerTAC 2-Day Virtual Supervision Summit: Creating a Shared Vision for PS/A Supervision
When: Thursday, January 30 - 9:00 AM
Duration: 7 hours
Location: Zoom - links will be shared via email
Event Details:
This event is coordinated and presented by the Peer Support Services Technical Assistance Center (PeerTAC), with hosting support provided by the Alliance for Rights and Recovery. The 2025 Summit is designed for supervisors of Peer Specialists/Advocates (PS/A) in mental health or integrated settings in New York State, although those in other settings and states are also welcome.
Workshops will provide inspirational messages about successes in offering peer support services in these settings while also tackling some of the tougher supervision challenges and concerns across the lifespan of those receiving services.
The Summit includes two plenary sessions (one on each day), followed by concurrent workshop sessions across five important supervision themes: Generations, Inspirations, Innovations, Collaborations, and Transformations.
While developed primarily for supervisors, those who are organizational leaders, managers, peer support leaders in training, and non-supervisory professionals in settings that employ PS/A are also welcome to join and gain wisdom, guidance, and practical ideas from experienced supervisors of Peer Specialists/Advocates (PS/A).
The contact information from your confirmed registration will be shared with our hosting support provider, The Alliance for Rights and Recovery to facilitate connection with the event.
