YPA Supervision Through a Recovery and Resiliency Lens

Event Details:

This session will delve into how supervision can support the provision of services through a lens of recovery and resilience. To optimize a positive supervisory outcome, supervisors will learn methods to: help YPAs discover and nurture the unique strength in each youth, help youth to engage and stay connected and active in their service planning, understand the importance of tone, listening and respect for the YPA’s unique perspective. Supervisors will also explore how to use supervision as an active self-care strategy for themselves as well as for the YPA.
