Join us for an engaging webinar designed specifically for Family Peer Advocates, focused on empowering caregivers to enhance their natural supports, which are those relationships outside of social services (family members, church members, schools, etc.). In this session, we will explore the definition and importance of natural support, identify existing relationships with family, friends, coworkers, and community members, and develop strategies to strengthen these vital connections. Through interactive discussions, and strength-based communication, participants will gain valuable skills to foster supportive environments that improve caregiver well-being and resilience. About the Presenter

Crystal Rose, FPA-C

As the Family Workforce Development Coordinator at Families Together in NYS, Inc. Crystal supports the engagement and training of Family Peer Advocates across NYS. Her past work at CRCEC, Brooklyn Perinatal Network, Wyckoff Hospital, and other community-based organizations includes onboarding and training new staff, advocating for maternal-child health programs as a certified Community Health Worker and helping families navigate government bureaucracy to receive needed services from organizations. Crystal also holds certifications in breastfeeding counseling, as well as the global Circle of Security Parenting curriculum.
