Event Details:

The Cross-Networking and Resource Gathering Training is created to help Youth Peer Advocates sharpen their skills in building connections and accessing the right resources for youth. In today’s world of complex systems, collaboration is key to ensuring that young people receive the support they need, whether it’s housing, education, mental health services, or more.

This training will dive into resource sharing, why it’s essential for promoting equity and access, and how to do it effectively. You’ll learn strategies for breaking down barriers to resources, how to effectively communicate with agencies, and the importance of advocating for youth through cross-network partnerships. We’ll explore creative ways to build networks, including leveraging community spaces and virtual tools to connect with providers. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to approach collaboration with confidence, match youth needs to resources, and advocate for impactful care.

At the end of this training, participants will:

  • Understand the importance of cross-network collaboration and resource-sharing in promoting equity and access for youth.
