The Managed Care Technical Assistance Center (MCTAC) is pleased to announce an expansion of our "Ask a MMCP" Billing Panel this year, taking place in three different regions.
Schedule:
9am - 10am:
- Breakfast and Meet & Greet
10am - 3 pm (Lunch will be provided):
- OMH and OASAS will present on recent billing and rate updates
- Medicaid Managed Care Plans (MMCPs) will share Plan-specific expectations and tips for billing
- Participants will be able to ask MMCP panelists questions and have the opportunity to talk with numerous MMCP teams throughout the day
- An overview of best practices and relevant resources for using eMedNY and ePACES will be provided by GDIT Provider Outreach representatives
- Resources and strategies to enhance billing processes, such as navigating Coordination of Benefits, will be shared.
Audience:
All behavioral health outpatient/ambulatory providers (OMH and OASAS licensed, certified, or designated) that contract with Medicaid Managed Care Plans are welcome to attend.
- Recommended for billing and finance staff as well as leadership.
- All other agency members are encouraged to attend to gain a better understanding of billing and revenue cycle management.
