Location: Zoom
Event Details:
TTAC is pleased to announce a webinar on Working with Complex IPV cases during COVID-19 on February 16, 2021 presented by Dr. Erica Willheim, Alejandra Caso, LMHC and Anne Patterson, LMSW. This webinar serves as a follow up to our webinar on Early Childhood Witnesses of Intimate Partner Violence; Impact and Repair scheduled for February 9, 2021.
This webinar will address the challenges presented during the COVID-19 crisis in working with families with young children when an abusive partner remains in the home. In this webinar, participants will learn about safety protocols, safe communication, and other risk management strategies that survivors can use when sharing physical space with a person who causes them harm.
The webinar will explore how clinicians can best navigate such cases, working to ensure the safety of the survivor caregiver and young children in the home. This webinar will also importantly provide ample opportunity for participants to ask questions about challenging case material that relates to this webinar and the webinar on Early Childhood Witnesses of Intimate Partner Violence; Impact and Repair and receive feedback from the presenters.
