This offering is designed to provide clinicians with a variety of skills to support recovery, resilience and independence to help people in extreme sorrow achieve a life worth living. You will learn the 4 primary DBT Skills, which are Distress Tolerance, Self-Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Mindfulness to assist people through the process of:

DBT is an evidenced-based practice that is designed to support and change lives. The DBT model is an established treatment for people experiencing emotional dysregulation due to a wide-variety of mental health conditions including people with suicidal and self-harm behaviors, substance use disorder, depression, bi-polar and borderline personality disorders. Although this will not be a certified DBT workshop, our goal is to offer you training in the important skills of DBT to use with your clients and participants in care.
