4th Annual Ask a Medicaid Managed Care Plan (MMCP): Billing Event

The Managed Care Technical Assistance Center (MCTAC) is pleased to announce an expansion of our "Ask a MMCP" Billing Panel this year: shifting from virtual to in-person and covering a range of billing strategies and best practices.

Schedule:

9-10am Breakfast, Meet & Greet

10am-3pm: Billing Event

During the 4th Annual Ask a MMCP Billing Event: 

  • MCTAC and OMH will provide an overview of recent program-specific billing changes and requirements
  • Medicaid Managed Care Plans (MMCPs) will share Plan-specific expectations and tips for billing
  • Participants will be able to ask MMCP panelists questions and have the opportunity to talk with numerous MMCP teams throughout the day 
  • Participants will learn about strategies to enhance billing processes and revenue cycle management

Audience: All behavioral health outpatient/ambulatory providers (OMH and OASAS licensed) that contract with Medicaid Managed Care Plans are welcome to attend. 

  • Recommended for billing and finance staff as well as leadership.
  • All other agency members are encouraged to attend to gain a better understanding of billing and revenue cycle management.
