COTI Technical Assistance Fiscal Sustainability Kick-off

When: Monday, April 6 - 9:30 AM

Duration: 5 hours

Location: 501 7th Avenue Conference room #8A, New York, NY, USA

Event Details:

Center for Treatment Innovation (COTI) programs have been providing clinical services through state grant funds but have been encouraged to develop clinical models and administrative practices for sustaining these services through other revenue sources, including Medicaid billing. Through a collaboration between the New York Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS), Coordinated Care Services Inc. (CCSI), and Center on Addiction (CoA), all currently STR/SOR grant funded COTI programs are eligible to receive technical assistance to develop quality, fiscally sustainable programs. The overall goal of the technical assistance services is to ensure that the community, peer-driven, mobile services delivered by COTI programs are sustained in a self-sufficient way. This Fiscal Sustainability Kick-Off Meeting will introduce all NYC-area funded COTI providers to the technical assistance offerings that have been designed to facilitate this endeavor.

•CoA will provide a training curriculum and technical support for business planning, centered on the fiscal model, as well as program implementation.

•OASAS will provide overall guidance and expertise for regulatory and billing questions.

•CCSI will provide guidance on use of a fiscal modeling tool, specifically designed for COTI services

This technical assistance is free to attend but space is limited (please only send 2 representatives per agency), so be sure to register by March 30th, 2019. We look forward to seeing you!

Sincerely,

Rachel Fitzpatrick and Kamala Genece
